Renesas Mobile provides complete platform solutions to minimize the time to market and maximize the value to end-customers. The platform solutions come with a comprehensive toolset to make it a simple process to take the platform to a product and allowing the customer to concentrate on their own product differentiation.
Renesas Mobile relies on extensive cooperation with industry partners and key industry stakeholders such as Operators, Network Vendors, Services providers, Standardization, Industry Forums to build robust and leading edge product offerings and ensuring compliance with industry standards, enabling global IOT and the coexistence of different technologies. The Renesas Mobile Platform Solutions and Customer Operations team will follow customer projects through the lifecycle to make sure that customer requirements and expectations are met without any compromises to the product schedules.
Services
In addition to Renesas Mobile's standard Mobile and Slim Modem Platform solutions and offerings Renesas Mobile provides various services to support the end customer product development.
Product Concept and System Design:
To develop a product that fully meets the customer's needs and maximizes the performance of the platform, Renesas Mobile have an experienced team of analysts and engineers to help analyse the requirements and optimise the product design. This includes training on the platform, its interfaces, testing and manufacturing procedures as well as reviews of customer designs.
Product Integration & Test:
Renesas Mobile provides extensive tools supporting the integration and testing of the delivered platform. To enable a smooth and rapid time to market, Renesas Mobile will also provide a support organisation to help plan and optimise the development process and to solve any issue during the integration testing in a timely manner. Where necessary, on site support, integration camps, joint debug session can all be arranged.
Product Certification and IOT Support:
Renesas Mobile platforms are thoroughly tested in our own laboratories and in live network conditions to ensure their readiness for certification. Each product will also need to be Certified and tested in its own right under the target operators conditions and Renesas Mobile can provide the support needed to plan end execute the necessary and appropriate test campaign.
Customization and Personalization:
Renesas Mobile standard platforms are designed to be flexible and easily configurable by the customer. Although most products requirement should be met by one of our standard platform, Renesas Mobile provides optional services for customisation to specific needs where feasible.
Productization:
A successful product is one that, not only is attractive to the user, but one that can be easily and efficiently manufactured bringing the maximum cost benefits. Renesas Mobile can help with advice and provide consultancy on choosing the right components, for design decision and tools to be able to achieve the best products with the optimum production process.
